Brooklyn Bedding vs Ghostbed

Choosing the right mattress for our night sleep can be quite a confusing, if not daunting task. With many choices available on the market, it can be difficult to tell what exactly the differences are between those beds. Besides, comfortability is quite a subjective matter. What is comfortable for other people may not be the same for you. Therefore, before you make your choice, it would be wise to get to know better about the beds you are considering. In the following article, we are going to discuss about the comparisons between Brooklyn Bedding and Ghostbed. Both are popular bedding options with glowing reviews – but there are indeed significant differences between the two. Now, continue reading below!

These two mattresses are very different if we compare the construction layers. Brooklyn Bedding has 10” thickness, as it is made of three different layers: 2” Talalay latex that is soft and comfy, 2” Dunlop latex that functions to create the perfect transition from the top latex to the core layer, and 6” convoluted high-density polyurethane foam. The cover is a cotton blend fabric that is quilted over a 0.75” memory foam. The fit and finish of the cover are excellent, as the sides are attractive and highly durable. However, the cover is not removable, so the cleaning needs to be performed on the spot.

On the other hand, Ghostbed is a 11” thick mattress that offers “supernatural” comfort, featuring 1.5” premium latex that naturally contours your body and provides softness, 2” gel-infused memory foam that minimizes pressure and isolates movement, and 7.5” extra-high density support core for balanced support, comfort, and durability. The ultra-smooth cover has quilted sides and is zippered for easy removal and cleaning. The cover is easily washable, but it is not machine-washable.

In general, both models are highly comfortable. Brooklyn Bedding is a nice bed that is soft and bouncy. It still provides decent support, but it is softer and bouncier if compared to Ghostbed. The springy latex is great for amorous activities. But Brooklyn Bedding may not be suitable if you are looking for the typical firmness of memory foam.

On the other hand, Ghostbed is closer to your typical memory foam. It is soft on the skin, yet with nice, deep firmness and support. It is comfortable for all sleeping positions. The mattress also has excellent air circulation that keeps you cool.

Trial Period and Warranty
Finally, let us take a note about the trial periods and warranties. Brooklyn Bedding provides 120 nights of trial period and a 10-year limited warranty. During the trial period, if you are not satisfied with the product, you can return it and get a full refund. On the other hand, Ghostbed provides 100 nights of trial period and a 20-year limited warranty.
